About Belur Public Library in LALA BABU SHIRE ROAD, Belur

With an area of nearly 4 kattas . With triple storied building, The Ground floor consists of Free Reading Room, Free accession of books for the readers, separate section for the Students with Text book library. The First Floor & the 2nd Floor are the Halls for holding small functions & meetings purpose. It is registered under W.B.Societies Regd Act, No.OS/73090 Of 1992-93. Total numbers of books & Magazines at present are 42,000 & 11000 respectively. The current membership enrolments are 512. This caters the needs of the Local People at large. Now running 122 years of its existence, will celebrate 125 years from year April’2019
