The Fishermen Trust (TFT) is a registered charity based in Bangalore, India. Established in 2006, TFT is a non-profit, sustainable organisation whose primary focus is to offer its services in order to fund its vital and influential work among the young people and children of Bangalore.

India’s economy and wealth is booming and yet young people and children are still suffering. The feeling of hopelessness and worthlessness is widespread and suicide is at record levels between the ages of 15 and 29. We firmly believe that these young people need education, not necessarily mental arithmetic and scientific equations but a more holistic, experiential education encouraging self esteem and self worth. TFT has therefore been established to Engage and Empower these young people in order to equip them to make better life choices.
