3. The most illiterate State among the 28 states of India. Odisha stands at the 28th position in educational progress in India.
4. The lone victim of Natural calamites every year, than other costal states of India: flood during rain, drought in summer.
5. The State of Persecution. It is in top list in regards Persecution by non-Christian in India today.
