About Crescent High School in Mosque Road Basavanagudi, Bangalore

Crescent High School is run by Crescent Association.
Crescent Association was founded in the year 1969 as an allied institution of
the Jamia Masjid-e-Islamabad, Basavanagudi. The site for the school and
the attached mosque was Site allotted by Mysore Maharaja to Muslims of
Basavanagudi in the 1940’s.Crescent Association is a public charitable organisation that runs 8
educational institutions in Basavanagudi area of Bangalore city. The
association is working towards ensuring a better life through
education and offers our less fortunate children the prospects of a
better life. Since its creation nearly three decades ago, it has
relentlessly worked for the eradication of the socio-economic and
educational backwardness in the community.

Crescent Association is a registered, secular, non-profit and non-governmental organisation with the Registration no: 269/1969-70 under the societies registration act of 1960.
Crescent is a private minority charitable institution. Only the Crescent high school for boys is under grant-in-aid from the govt. of Karnataka.
