About Indian Society of Soil Biology and Ecology in University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore

The Society was established in 1976 and vested with sole agenda of promoting the science of soil biology.It provides the views of the soil biologists and ecologists on all agricultural/general related issues to encourage talent and promote excellence in soil biology,making it a powerful instrument for the growth of national economy and a vibrant farm sector.In order to facilitate the same, the society has been publishing the bi-annual Journal of Soil Biology and Ecology to provide opportunity of regular publication of progress made in the field.It has successfully organized 10 national symposia and 10th international Soil Zoology Colloquium.
