About Pindari Glacier Trek in Pindari, Uttarakhand, Bageshwar

This glacier is located on the southeast of Nanda Devi & Nanda Kot peaks at an altitude of 12,300 feet (Approx 3600 meters). Located in the Pindar Valley, the glacier is 5 km long with 6 meter high snout & 2.5 meter width. The glacier flows to the south for a short distance of 3 kms & gives rise to the Pindari river which meets Alaknanda & Karanprayag Rivers in Garhwal region.
