About Government Polytechnic Aurangabad in Eknath Nagar Road, Aurangabad

Government Polytechnic, Aurangabad (GPA) founded in 1955. GPA is one of the oldest institutes dedicated to technical education. GPA is ideally situated in nucleus of industrial belt at Aurangabad, Waluj, Chikalthana, Chitegaon, Paithan, Shendra and well connected by Road, Railway and Air-Way network. GPA prides itself for locating among the historic surrounding of Bibi Ka Maqbara, Pan Chakki, Khuldabad, Ajantha & Ellora caves and Daulatabad Fort. It is one of the seven Autonomous Institutions in the Maharashtra State. The GPA has a long history, rich in industrial base of Aurangabad; its evolution began in 1955 with 60-intake capacity, which later became institute offering Diploma Programs (Full-time & Part-time) in conventional and emerging areas.
