The clinical roots of Samvedana Psychiatry track back to 1984 when psychiatric clinic was established at Relief Road by Dr Mrugesh Vaishnav. The current establishment originates from 16th October 1996. Since its inception the clinic has been serving the masses in field of psychiatry. We have been working seamlessly to cater clients suffering from various mental ailments, psychological issues, relationship stressors, youth problems, severe mental illness like bipolar Mood Disorder and Schizophrenia.
We have a registered 9 bed indoor facility and psychiatric emergency round the clock. We also provide home visits in case of non co operative patients. In tune with time we have started Skype sessions for counselling/ Psychotherapy to clients abroad or at difficult to reach places.
We cater to super speciality psychiatric services like, Sex and relationship Therapy, Deaddiction and Child Psychiatry. The clinic uses latest advances in the field of psychiatry either psychotherapeutic approaches or pharmacological management.
Regular case meetings for complicated cases and individualized case based approach help in managing difficult to treat or treatment resistant psychiatric cases. We believe in minimum medicines maximum output. Any ongoing medication is explained to patient and relatives and we refrain from polytherapy or practices least helpful to patients.
Samvedana Psychiatry has been involved in many clinical studies in the past and have been recognized by highest of the audit agencies as the most efficient and ethical sites across the globe in field of clinical trials. We are involved in human behaviour research and modification activities.
Through our Foundation “Samvedana Foundation” we have been regularly organizing CMSs, Public seminars, Lectures, Workshops and self help group meetings to make the masses aware about psychiatric illnesses and the possible outcomes and measures to prevent them. We have been associated in many school and college projects as well as corporate collaborations to maximize output among students and employees In their assigned tasks like exams or work performance. Regular free as well as low cost check up OPDs are set up on behalf of Samvedana Foundation to help the weaker sections of the society in a bid to make psychiatric treatment financially viable and prevent relapses of the disease.
