About Rangan: Drawing School For Children in BCA Building, Chandranagar, Paldi, Ahmedabad

RANGAN is an organization which functions under the umbrella of Bengal Cultural Association, Ahmedabad.
It was started 25 years ago by some enthusiastic young members of trustees who are artists and art lovers. They started this drawing class for children of the age group between 5 to 15 years.

Apart from drawing classes different activities are also conducted from time to time such as Rangoli competition, Garba competition, etc. In summer vacation we arrange special classes, such as calligraphy, glass painting, collage, etc. (if we get sufficient students and it being conducted by special guest teacers)
Last few years we conducted music competition, vocal as well as instruments. We also organize annual day celebration just like today.
We arrange picnic tour cum excursion once in a year, where drawing competition and games are arranged.
Lastly about the name RANGAN: it is the name of a flower which blossoms in our beloved country, India. We kept this name because we consider every children like a flower. We help them to blossom like beautiful flower.
