INSIGHT is published bimonthly by Consumer Education and Research Society (CERS), a non-commercial membership organisation promoted by Consumer Education and Research Centre (CERC), Ahmedabad, a public charitable trust.

INSIGHT is a comprehensive source of independent, objective information on consumer products in the categories of food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, personal care products, and household electrical appliances all with the brand names. It recommends “best buys” and “don’t buys” based on the findings of the comparative testing, evaluation and ranking of products at its independent, in-house laboratory, the first of its kind in India.

The test reports published in INSIGHT have influenced various segments of society: consumers, manufacturers, dealers, agents, wholesalers, retailers, advertisers, etc. on one hand and the legislative, the executive, the judiciary and regulatory authorities on the other.

INSIGHT maintains its integrity by not accepting any product samples from manufacturers or taking any kind of advertisements.
