The British International School Chennai (TBISC) was founded in the year 2005 with the aim of providing an international standard of education modelled on the British curriculum – UK National Curriculum, and the Edexcel International Syllabus for ‘IGCSE’ and ‘GCE’ (‘AS’ and ‘A’ level). TBISC, true to its motto, ‘Motivators First. Educators Next.’, strives to make learning investigative and creative, focusing not just on academics, but also on co-scholastic and extracurricular activities, giving children every opportunity to develop academically, physically and artistically with a sense of respect and strong set of values. Working closely with parents, TBISC ensures that every child receives the support and encouragement, needed to be a happy, confident and motivated learner, believing in their own abilities. TBISC offers classes starting from Play School to ‘A’ level. To meet the aspirations of the students, TBISC has been introducing new subjects from time to time. Recently TBISC introduced Psychology, General Studies, Further Pure Mathematics and Law as additional subjects. Our students have been scoring top grades in the Edexcel International Examinations for the past several years and we are proud to state that our students have received more than 301 ‘A’ and ‘A*’ grades till date. Further, the students of TBISC have obtained centum in various subjects including English Language & Literature, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Mechanics and Mathematics.
