About Chennai Model United Nations in American International School, 100 Feet Road, Taramani, Chennai

Chennai Model United Nations Conference (CHEMUN) is the premier MUN simulation in South India for high school students. It is organized and run by the students of the American International School Chennai.

Participation is usually limited to 300-400 delegates so that optimum speaking time is available to all participants. We encourage students from both India and abroad to attend. Participation is on a first-come-first serve basis.

The theme of the conference is: Disease Control and Medicine.
CHEMUN 7 will have the following committees: General Assembly, Security Council, ECOSOC, DISEC, Environment Commission,
Human Rights Comittee, and Special Conference.
